Previously an XL broadsheet, this medium format, staple-bound third issue is loosely dedicated to decor’s ‘doing and undoing’, featuring typically witty and highly opinionated yet thoughtful takes on aesthetics, function, design and more. Inside, features are presented as a series of propositions—‘To Unwelcome’, ‘To Make Satire In Your Own Home’, ‘Sit With That’, ‘To Throw’, and ‘To Lay Down’—covering everything from discomfort as ‘the ultimate luxury’ and the often overlooked affective nature of furniture in the photography of interiors magazines, to the quietly revolutionary act of reclining in public.
