This Fall 2026 issue of the large-format women’s fashion biannual brings together an impressive cohort of cover stars including the late model and jewellery designer Tina Chow, Grammy-winning pop star Olivia Rodrigo, and American model/actress Lily-Rose Depp. Alongside interviews with the latter stars, conducted by Jen Brill and Ottessa Moshfegh respectively, discover an adoring tribute to Tina penned by her friend and former French Vogue editor-in-chief Joan Juliet Buck.
Previously eschewing the confines imposed by a theme, this sixteenth issue is an exercise in pushing a prompt to its limits, featuring the ‘charming, wide-ranging’ and ‘unruly’ thoughts of 16 contributors on what the number means to them. ‘Sixteen is a loaded number,’ the editors write, ‘what follows—in words, images, diary entries, lists, selfies, and snapshots—is not so much a portrait of sixteen as an opening onto all the HommeGirls we have become and have yet to be.’ Highlights include writer and film director Durga Chew-Bose’s musings on the distance between memory and emotion, a list of 16 things Lena Dunham has loved since she was 16—from autumnal reading marathons to the first day of spring—and an insight into the trinkets, tools, vices and cures that furnish Martine Syms’ days.
