‘Every day, computers are making people easier to use’

Last published in 2000, this tech magazine leans into its past, visually referencing US noughties magazines such as Wired and Fast Company. As such, it appears a bit of a curiosity, something exaggerated by the knowingly ironic print x digital jokes—it abounds with print renditions of digital artefacts such as cookie warnings, text message exchanges etc.

Look beyond those, and you’ll find plenty of good reading about digital technologies: electric cars, the coming of the hive mind, the religious nature of silicon valley cults. Perhaps unsurprisingly, there’s little in print about digital tech. In Formation fills that hole.
