Initially published in 2019, LoHi is the brainchild of two Miami-based queer, Hispanic creatives on a mission to ‘find the magic spot between the Lows and the Highs of Life’. At its core is a desire to spotlight global creatives who exist on the boundary between popular and alternative culture, finding inspiration across a broad range of disciplines. From fine art to architecture, fashion to flamenco, there's really something for everyone.
For their fourth edition, ‘The Nostalgia Issue’, LoHi takes a trip down memory lane, uncovering a bygone era of creative abundance in Miami Beach. In these 'larger-than-carry-on-approved sized pages' you'll find interviews with iconic members of Miami Beach's 90s underground scene, 'Bimbo Summit', South Beach's unlikely answer to climate change, and a look at the architecture at risk of being resigned to sepia-tinted pages.
