The international edition of M Le (magazine du) Monde, the weekly supplement accompanying France’s ‘newspaper of record’ Le Monde. First launched in 2019 to mark the supplement’s eighth anniversary, the English-language edition returned as a regular biannual at the beginning of 2025, and is a glossier, heavier and more impressive magazine than the weekly supplement. As it should be—this is a best of the weekly.

In their words: ‘A mix of politics and lifestyle, long articles that almost read like literature, fashion editorials featuring the best photographers and the most inspired stylists, investigative profiles and our picks of the best addresses from all over Europe.’

This fourth issue is themed ‘Legacy,’ and leads with Rosalia, who is interviewed inside at length alongside a shoot by Oliver Hadlee Perch. Also in the issue: The return to Paris of ‘La Cage aux Folles’; an interview with Yohji Yamamoto; a look back at the ten years that James Baldwin spent in Istanbul to avoid the racism of America; a celebration of 100 years of Le Creuset kitchenware; a photo shoot recliaming France’s own unique street foods, and more.
