Large-format Mousse gives a platform to international criticism of contemporary culture, commissioning essays and artwork each issue.

This Fall 2025 issue includes an essay by Andrew Berardini examining the impact of AI on art criticism; another about Israel’s Birzeit University in the seventies, when it was a beacon of elightenment in terms of Arab-Jew relations; and a monograph on Arash Nassiri.

Plus, in the now regular section printed on uncoated paper, you’ll find a conversation between photographer Reynaldo Rivera and Abdellah Taia, alongside a portfolio of work titled, ‘Hope Is a Four Letter Word.’
