‘A different way to travel’
Tokyo-based Papersky is a smart travel magazine primarily dedicated to its home country, Japan. Each issue is focused on a different region and is centred around cultural and outdoor exploration.
Issue 74 visits the city of Wakayama in central Japan, one of Japan’s premier bird-watching destinations, in the company of a diverse group of creatives, including performance artist Aoi Yamada, as well as illustrators, photographers, and musicians. As well as great photography, there are some beautiful illustrations here featuring each distinct area’s birds.
