The Wild Siren started out life as a popular Pinterest board inspired by the ‘rockstar girlfriend’ aesthetic, before evolving into a literary and arts publication of the same name. Much like its Pinterest precursor, the result is an anarchic patchwork of art, essays, poetry, photography, and other romantic musings—echoing founder Emma Griffiths vision for a space ‘where the chaos and calm welds neatly together’.
Readers can expect interviews with musicians including The Velveteers, Early James, Love Gang and Mucho Drums, plus features examining attitudes towards alcohol in the music industry, cigarettes as a cultural cachet, and a deep dive into our burgeoning interest in all things analogue.
