IL Magazine ‘Made in America’
This beautiful series of illustrated portraits by Andrea Ventura leads IL magazine’s December issue featuring twelve emblematic US figures. Four of the twelve have their own front cover – Hilary Clinton, Jennifer Lawrence, Taylor Swift and Donald Trump – and there’s a limited edition hardback version, shown here, with the artworks printed on canvas.
The issue also sees a complete design and editorial rethink; new sections and new fonts build on an increased pagination (164pp) and improved paper stock. It’s great to see such a well-designed magazine doing so well and building on its ongoing success, and a four-part hardback special edition is a great way to celebrate.
