magCulture Live is live again!
magCulture’s annual conference championing the creativity at the heart of magazine culture is back in real life.
As ever, we’ll be highlighting great magazine work across art direction, editing, photography, illustration and typography, but we also want this day to be a celebration—at last, an opportunity to come together again and celebrate independent magazines.
We’re excited to be returning to our Conway Hall home for a celebratory day, focused this year on the independent magazine.
From eighties innovator Terry Jones (i-D) to today’s big successes (Kinfolk, MacGuffin) and the latest generation of new magazines, you’ll hear what powers the evergreen desire to create, publish, sell and read printed magazines. Despite all the challenges of the last year, indie publishing is stronger than ever. Join us to find out more!
We’re also excited to welcome Alex Breuer, Creative director of The Guardian, who’ll be sharing the work behind the newspaper’s new Saturday magazine, one of the biggest new launches in the UK this year.
The magCulture pop-up shop will be open on the day, along with familiar partners and other associated side events. We’re excited to be able to all come together in the hall again, to celebrate magazines and the people behind them.
