magCulture Meets The Gourmand
Event

magCulture Meets The Gourmand

After a short summer break, magCulture Meets is back and we’re kicking off with an absolute corker! The Gourmand’s co-founder and editor-in-chief David Lane will be joining us to celebrate the arrival of issue 11 and will be talking us though some of the magazine’s editorial highlights and behind-the-scenes stories.

The latest issues features pieces on the kitchen at Farleys House and the culinary life of British Surrealist artist Lee Miller, a short tale about love in a doughnut shop written by Rita Bullwinklel and a beautiful photo story introducing the ingredients of West Africa. Plus Sonic Youth, Quo Vadis, burnt food and seagulls.

The evening will see an illustrated talk followed by an audience Q&A.

Wedensday 19 September
Doors opens at 6.30pm and the talk will kick off at 7pm

We expect this to be a particularly popular evening so please book early to avoid disappointment. And please note this event takes place on a Wednesday rather than the usual Thursday.
