magCulture Meets Racquet

When we first heard about a possible new independent tennis magazine, it seemed such an obvious, natural idea. David Shaftel, editor of that magazine, Racquet, joined us for our latest magCulture Meets evening to share his and co-founder Caitlin Thompson’s ambitions to reinvent how tennis is covered in print media.

David discusses their latest issue, shares some thoughts on the coming fourth issue, and reveals he hasn’t had time to see any of the Wimbledon tennis during his visit to London.
