Italian cycling title Alvento takes a people-centric approach to the sport by celebrating those who have ‘chosen bikes as a means of expressing themselves.’ As for the name? It’s Italian for ‘in the wind’.

Previously published exclusively in Italian, the magazine is now available in English, but its coverage remains firmly Italian, profiling cyclists, covering races, sharing two-wheeled journeys from around the world and translating features from the original Italian edition.

In this issue: Alessandro Auttieri delves into the transient history of ‘The Triple Crown Club’, an exclusive category of cycling success—currently comprising just eight members—reserved for winners of the Giro d’Italia, Tour de France and Vuelta a España; Danish cyclist Mads Pedersen sits in conversation with Stefano Zago to discuss his pragmatic approach to cycling as a career; and the team take a trip to Ticino, an Italian-speaking region in southern Switzerland ‘that seems tailor-made for cycling.’
