Carrier, as the name suggests, is a new independent title from Amsterdam spotlighting ‘human-centred stories of people who ride cargo bikes.’ Published by the organisers of The International Cargo Bike Festival, the magazine covers global stories, often with a sustainable and community-oriented angle.

For its sophomore edition, the team pedalled around the world—from Valencia to Texas to Mongolia—with the sole aim of discovering a far flung community of carrier bike enthusiasts, each playing an important role in the subtle transformation of societal attitudes towards mobility. Its ‘not-so-subtle subtext?’; according to editor Tom Parr: ‘If the cargo bike can make a difference in extraordinary situations, what could it do in your life, for your organisation, or in your neighbourhood.’
