Feu #6

192 x 260 mm, 200 pages
Paris, France (French and English-language)
Annual
Published since 2020
Editor-in-chief and creative director: Fabrice Tayeau

A newer title for the shop, but not new to the world: Feu is dedicated to celebrating queer and creole identities at large. Interestingly, it’s also created by three siblings, Morgane, Fabrice, and Yannick (working on production, art direction, and finance respectively). The three siblings are based in Paris but were born in the Caribbean.

Its sixth edition—themed ‘The Voodoo Issue’—is devoted to transcendent, folklorish, and alternative belief systems, asking ‘is there still a place for beliefs and mystery in contemporary society? And if so, where are they hiding?’

Inside, an interview with clinical psychologist Antoine Bioy explores altered states of consciousness and how unleashing the power of trance could transform contemporary society; French alternative musician Zulu delves into community, being between two cultures, and his new music video for the lead single of his upcoming mixtape ‘Scar’; and photographer Enantios Dromos shares a theatrical photo editorial, titled ‘A São Paulo Ghost Story.’
