BOMB has been in the arts magazine game since 1981, with the mission to deliver the artist’s voice. The quarterly publication focuses on artists in conversation with one another across multiple disciplines from visual to performance.
On the cover of this Fall 2026 issue: a 2018 archival print of a reclining woman by American photographer Elle Pérez, simply titled ‘Nicole’, accompanied inside by an interview delving into how they capture queerness in their practice.
Elsewhere, writer George Saunders sits down with composer Missy Mazzoli, who has been tasked with adapting his novel ‘Lincoln in the Bardo’ for the opera on stage at The Metropolitan in New York, and novelist Grace Krilanovich explores how she married the countercultural spirit of the 1960s with Victorian era California in her latest novel ‘Acid Green Velvet’.
