Published by the respected Amsterdam photography gallery of the same name, Foam magazine has covered international photography in print and online for 25 years. Today, its print edition is produced only as an annual ‘Talent’ special, presenting the work of 30 new photographers.

Selected from 2,892 submitted entries from 107 countries, 15 winners and 15 runner ups represent the best new work of 2026. This year’s 15 ‘Foam Talents’ reflect on home, looking at the universal sense of the domestic, mundane and personal, and attempting to define what home means to them. Works range from Sara de Brito Faustino’s disturbingly surreal images of figures and body parts squeezed into tableaux of rooms, to Ramona Jingru Wang’s soft focus portraiture of transhuman girlhood, rejecting the techno-Orientalist gaze.

The issue also contains a brief section of reviews and interviews at the front of the book, including a conversation between American photographer Dawoud Bey and Berlin-based writer Boaz Levin, alongside a visit to the North London home of 2025 Turner Prize nominee Rene Matić.
