Vilnius Review is an annual magazine highlighting contemporary writing from Lithuania; it’s a best-of compilation of the English translations published on the website of the same name. In classic lit-mag style, it publishes prose, poetry, essays, fiction and non-fiction works, as well as interviews with authors and reviews by critics.
This is the 2026 edition, featuring Giedrė Kazlauskaitė, Tomas Venclova, Marius Burokas, Mindaugas Kvietkauskas, Gintaras Grajauskas, Rimantas Kmita, Vytautas V. Landsbergis, Gražina Kelmelytė, Valdas Papievis, Sigitas Parulskis, and many more.
As the front cover shows, the journal is also very well designed, as recognised at the 2024 instalment of the D&AD Awards where it received a Wood Pencil.
