Miss Render is a magazine disguised as a catalogue for a fictional AI assistant of the same name. Created using AI, it skewers the promise of the technology through interviews, features and adverts, and uses the visual language of middle-era Apple to give its 64 pages a convincing sheen of truth. It’s publisher, CSM student Connor Patrick O’Brien explains it origins.
New magazine Tinted Issue is a beautifully crafted piece of editorial design and production, and it’s been satisfying seeing it sell well from or London shop. Founder Ida Yndal, a Copenhagen-based creative director, describes the origins, inspirations and pressures of developing a magazine on her own.
New mag Velvet Pages is devoted to a bookish audience with an interest in contemporary culture, brimming with literary essays and cultural commentaries, plus profiles on musicians, fashion designers and writers. Co-founder Misha Kratina explains more as she shares her working week.
